Catching some zzzzzzz's

One night at bedtime we couldn't find Timmy anywhere and when we found him he was sound asleep in the livingroom chair. He's even under the pillow.

Buttercup November 2008

One of our families favorite vacation spots is the sand dunes. If you asked any of my kids where the funnest place is i'm sure that is what they would say. So in November we went to Buttercup for 4 days and we all had a wonderful time. We had a smaller group than normal, but it still was just as much fun as always. It is a never ending sand pit for the kids. The minute they get up until I make them go to bed it is nonstop playing. The kids are digging in the sand, rolling in the sand, riding some kind of vehicle, playing games, eating, and just having fun the entire day! It's great because rarely is there any fighting, and the kids of all ages get along. The kids favorite place at Buttercup is the wall. If you go out and around a ways theres a hugh sand wall that theres not a lot of riders so the kids can climb up and race and roll down. It takes a lot to get up, your legs are burning when you reach the top. But the sand there is the softest sand you will ever feel! It's a whole lot of fun!!! The adults just ride and sit around and talk. It's very relaxing, and at night we always have a campfire and smores. I love smores!!!! Ya, life doesn't get much better than this!! Just kidding, but it is a blast!!

Day of Fun

What started out as "Mom, come take pictures of us jumping on the trampoline!" ended up with Hannah and Becca swimming in the pool, in November!!! Freezing! The water was so cold, they were crazy!!
But I took a lot of fun pictures of them on the trampoline.

Way, Way, Behind!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm way behind on my blog. I'm going to try and get better. So one of my many New Year Resolutions is to keep up with my blog. So over the next few days i'm going to post a few trying to get caught up for the last 2 months. I was told by a few people there is a way to print up your blog so it's a good way to keep a journal. That is why I started blogging. Anybody know how to print them?

It's mine!!!

Chloe, Angel, and the Ham Bone

My kids thought this was so funny and I took pictures so it's like a slide show. We were out back playing and Chloe went and picked up Angels plastic ham. Angel is really gentle with Chloe and was following her around because she wanted her toy. She tried to get it but Chloe started to yell so she let go. She kept following her and licking her lips. So finally she snuck back over and they had a tug of war and Angel won. Chloe was not to thrilled. But it was really cute!! So here goes the slide show in the kids words since Chloe can't talk.......
Mom! Angels trying to take my toy!
Ha, It's mine and you can't have it! What are you looking at? And quite licking your lips! It's mine!

Don't you come any closer!

Go away!

Hey, that's mine! Give it back!

Get your grubby mouth off of it!!!

Oh no you don't!

Mom!!! Angel took my toy!!!!

My kids looked at the pictures over and over because they thought it was so funny!!!

Halloween

Becca, Timmy, and Chloe worn different costumes to the parties than when they went trick or treating. But that part of the fun of Halloween, right??? Halloween is such a fun holiday and lots of yummy treats to go with all the fun, I love it!! Look at all that candy, yum!!!

Timmy was Peter Pan, Becca Captain Hook, and Chloe Tinker Bell. I tried to get Sara and Hannah to be the Indian Princess and Wendy but they wouldn't do it. Hannah was a witch and Sara was a flapper. We still find red feathers all over. They all looked very cute in all of the different costumes. Timmy also was Woody, Becca was also Snow White and a flower child. Chloe was also Tigger.

On Halloween Grandma Joann came with us trick or treating. Sara, Hannah, and Becca said they wanted to rollerblade. So about 5 houses in the first one wants to go back and change into shoes. So we go back and then 3 houses later the next one wanted to change into shoes. So we go back and 3 houses later the next one wants to change into shoes. So by then I said ok, it's the golf cart time. So the rest of the night they trick or treated from the golf cart. That was great, we'll start that way next year!!! By the end everyone was trick or treating in their socks.

We had a really fun Halloween and ended up with tons and tons of candy!!!!!!

Party!!!! Halloween style

Chloe loves candy!!

The Halloween party was a lot of fun. Complete with witches and a witches brew, dinner, pumpkin decorating, dessert and a trick or treating ally. I mean, what can get any better then that?

Sara and Hannah did one side of the pumpkin,
Becca and Timmy did the other. It's a two faced
pumpkin!!!

Taylor, Emmee, Aunt Shari, and Hannah enjoy
the yummy witches brew.

Frog leggs anyone? Oh yeah, thats the whole frog!!

Halloween partys at Grandma and Grandpas are always fun, especially with Aunt Sharis witches brew!!! Aunt Shari and Ashlee dressed up for a creepy witches brew full of spiders and cockroaches, yummy!!!!

Queen Valley Riding

Our Family loves going riding. So we went out to
Queen Valley and went riding with Rob and Amy
Singleton and their family. It was a lot of fun. That is Becca riding and digging in the dirt.
If there is dirt you will find Becca in it. She
has always loved dirt, and does not care how
dirty she gets!!!

Sara and Chloe were walking around, trying
to keep Chloe from eating the rocks!!

This was so funny!!! Rob took 7 kids for a ride on the golf cart. They were gone a long time so Bill went to find them. He came back and said they were being towed by the forest ranger back. So I grabbed my camera. All 7 kids were in the truck with Rob being towed on the golf cart, it was so funny, and they kids thought it was awesome!!
